Our community is experiencing its second serious fire this week, both on the South side. Thanks to our firefighters for getting on top of these.

    The first vegetation fire on Pommel and horseshoe was only 9 acres and these units were responding. the one 2 days later burned around 95 acres. The first day of summer.
    I hate to think what the rest will bring if the Diamond 20 owners- absent and living here-don’t clear their weeds, and use some common sense when mowing, welding, weed eating etc.
    Just a random thought to throw out food for thought so to speak…not fuel for fire.
