See you there!
Your neighbor Nicole probably has it:
You wouldn’t happen to be missing a piglet, would you? I was trying to see if I could post on the Diamond XX site, maybe you could help to get the word out? We had one wander in our yard today, my daughter was able to catch it and we have him/her safe but a little scared.

The County Ag Dept is planning for the upcoming 2017 roadside weed spraying effort, which is planned to start in early February.
If you do NOT want herbicide sprayed on weeds that border your property, clearly mark your property or fence with a NO SPRAY sign.

Four recent fires in the Motherlode have one common cause… Can you guess what it is?
I sure hope each one is getting billed the full cost of fighting the fires.
For the second time in as many weeks, we heard the planes, rushed out on our deck, and saw a huge plume of smoke rising just over the hill, somewhere in Diamond XX. Here are some of the places I go to get near real-time info on what is happening:
Facebook groups (search for them in Facebook, then join as a member):
- Motherlode Fire and Police Info
- Gold Country Fire EMS and Law Enforcement
- Tri – County Fire, Police and More (probably the fastest to post factual data)
News sites:
- MyMotherlode tends to have articles up pretty quickly and usually includes a map of the incident.
Scanner feeds:
Please share other sites or info sources in the comments.
Thanks & stay safe!

I think this is the same petition that is described in this article.
